Hello Lombok “freedom racers”,

This week, we give you full update on the World Super Bike (WorldSBK) taking place on November 19-21 on Kuta Mandalika street circuit, South Lombok island (while MotoGP will be held on 18-20 March 2022). Government have pushed hard over the last 2 years to make that dream come true. The major work and the infrastructure at Mandalika Circuit, is nearly 100 percent complete. 25,000 tickets are now selling fast across Indonesia from US$190 to VIP US$1500.

For the first time since 1997, WorldSBK returns to Indonesia for the final round of the 2021 season. Indonesia currently has Andi Farid Izdihar in the Moto3 racing event and Galang Hendra Pratama in the Supersport World Championship. The Circuit has also received the praise of MotoGP legend Mick Doohan, who claimed the track would blur the distinction between racing and holidaying.

In addition to the track, several circuit support facilities such as the Pit Building, Race Control Building and the Medical Center are still in the completion stage. Construction of International Airport-Mandalika highway is complete, measuring 17.3 kilometers in length for a budget of 815 billion rp. (US$50 million).

On the tourism side, hotels are seeing bookings unseen in 2 years across Lombok. Novotel Kuta is fully booked, and the newly built Pullman will open its doors to host crews before the official opening in January 2022. Many government officials and company teams keep visiting the area ahead of the event too, which help compensate for the dire lack of tourists, foreigners, and nationals alike.

Located 10 minutes away from Kuta Mandalika street circuit and the new direct highway to the international airport, Nagaindo boasts several stunning sites in the beautiful area between Gerupuk and Awang bay, which includes Gunung Tunak natural reserve, and a great concentration of surf breaks. Awang bay is also on the kite surfing world circuit.

Mirah Property Group, (one of the pioneers of luxury property development in Bali), have expanded through their Cocana brand into South Lombok. They have just acquired two large beachfront and hill side properties in Bumbang, Gerupuk bay.

Nagaindo have decided to offer new properties on the back of those new developments, including beachfront sites. From 30 to US$60 per sqm, our plots can include servicing, covenant regulations but always display unobstructed view over the ocean and the sunset.
